(I did try to comment out the bit of the installer that checks the RPi version and the installer did run but said it was unable to install dependencies. forum and the release of the new GAV4 with every module linked with it as an. (To say I have no idea what I’m doing is an understatement.) I’ve installed node.js and npm (I think) but can’t get it to work. Section 2: Booting up the Raspberry Pi and configuring it. Section 1: Preparing the SD card with the operating system. I understand the Pi 1 is not supported so needs to be run in serveronly mode which I cannot get to work. After all, you will need that to set it up, but even at the end, installing MagicMirror², it is assumed you are doing that directly on the Raspberry Pi, and not through a remote SSH login. If you are using the default installation directory, use the command: cd /MagicMirror/modules. First if all, I’m new to linux and the pi, so please forgive my ignorance.Īnyway, I’ve been trying to get the magic mirror to work on my old Pi 1 for some time now, but can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it.
